HOW IT WORKS
The GBMS Radar reads your fluid level with radar pulses instead of a float or probe, so nothing ever sits inside the tank or touches the liquid. The sensor mounts on the outside of the tank and measures through into the space above the fluid — eliminating the mechanical failure points common in traditional float sensors.
Microwave Pulses
Precision radar technology measures depth from 150mm up to 2000mm. Any depth below 150mm is reported as 100% capacity.

THE 150MM DEADZONE
Radar needs a minimum distance to resolve a clean return. Within 150mm of the sensor face, there isn't enough room for the pulse to bounce back reliably, so this band is treated as the deadzone.
In practice this means that once the fluid surface rises to within 150mm of the sensor, the tank simply reports 100% / full. Keep this in mind when positioning the sensor so the deadzone sits at the very top of your usable range.
